The INPACS GmbH service and coordination headquarters are located just to the south of Berlin and currently employ 20 staff.

Certified environment management
The quality and environment management system at INPACS is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and includes both regular risk analyses and the consideration of direct and indirect environmental aspects with regard to ongoing improvement of the environmental footprint.
INPACS has been participating in the compensation programme for greenhouse gas emissions, organised by the “Climate without Borders” organisation, since 2015, and has a “climate neutral” certificate.
The compensation programme invests in efficient ovens for cooking for Ugandan communities, as a result of which 140,000 tonnes of charcoal and firewood have been saved every year.
Sustainability Gold Status by EcoVadis
As a result of the evaluation of internal social, environmental and ethical practices, the INPACS central operation has achieved EcoVadis Gold Status, with above-average ratings for all evaluated areas within the INPACS business category. EcoVadisruns one of the leading international platforms providing CSR ratings of suppliers for global supply chains.
The declared goal by mid-2018 is the successful completion of the evaluation of all INPACS members.
