Successful inclusion: igefa member Arndt sets a good example


Recently, Florian Jilek joined our igefa member Arndt in Erkheim. 
The 25-year-old warehouse employee is mentally handicapped and has demonstrated his capacities as an intern in the warehouse during the past two years.

Support for hiring and selecting workers with disabilities was provided by Marie-Luise Breitfeld, head of the Integra project at the Unterallgäuer Werkstätten.
The project aims to place people with disabilities to employers in the economy, because these people often have different career aspirations than working in a workshop.

The company Arndt offers ideal conditions for the special needs of employees with disabilities. When the new building was planned in 2014, it was already laid out barrier-free.
The social environment with colleagues and superiors is also right: Florian Jilek is a beloved and appreciated colleague of all.

After all, it is also an important sign for other employees that their employer takes on social responsibility.
